FOUNDATION'S OBJECTIVES
Goals of the SAGITTARIUS foundation:
- Promoting sport shooting, combat and recreational shooting among adults, youth and children.
- Dissemination of knowledge and skills in the field of national defense.
- Maintaining favorable customs in the minds of citizens of the Republic of Poland and foreigners.
- Maintaining national tradition, cultivating Polishness and developing patriotic, civic and cultural awareness.
- Dissemination of knowledge and skills for defense, rescue and civil protection.
- Promoting the provision of assistance to weaker individuals.
- Supporting, promoting and undertaking initiatives in the field of comprehensive development of Polish society in the field of social, civic, economic, information, IT, cultural, scientific, educational, tourist and sports activities.
- Supporting, promoting and undertaking initiatives in the field of health protection and ecology.
FULFILMENT OF OBJECTIVES
The foundation pursues its goals through:
- 1. Running a public shooting range.
- 2. Conducting shooting training.
- 3. Creating opportunities for self-development for employees of uniformed services.
- 4. Professional development of licensed employees of physical security and other formations, including armed ones.
- 5. Professional development of employees of uniformed services.
- 6. Organization and running of shooting competitions.
- 7. Disseminating knowledge about the history of the Polish Army, in particular in the field of historical reconstruction and popularizing the principles of truth, honor and good manners.
- 8. Collecting, storing and sharing cultural heritage goods, in particular in the field of military history, and conducting scientific research and dissemination activities in this area.
- 9. Participation in initiating and coordinating historical events and other activities related to the integration of historical environments.
- 10. Developing and consolidating in society, especially among young people, desirable interests, habits and skills important from the point of view of the state's defense capability and useful in preparing society to prevent and possibly combat threats in peacetime.
- 11. Promoting culture, both material and spiritual, and expanding historical knowledge about Poland.
- 12. Protection and restoration of historical buildings of a defensive nature and other buildings that testify to the continuity of tradition.
- 13. Promotion of the region and popularization of its historical and cultural tourist values.
- 14. Help in improving competitiveness for employers employing people with disabilities.
- 16. Activity in the field of popularization of a healthy and active lifestyle, tourism, recreation, sport, rehabilitation, beauty, ecology, environmental protection, including in relation to the disabled.
- 15. Disseminating and encouraging the creation of all forms of pro-health, treatment and prevention activities, including improving the professional qualifications of medical staff.
- 17. Counteracting addictions and social pathologies.
- 18. Activities in the field of information and communication as well as security: state defense, fire protection, health and safety.
- 19. Social and physical rehabilitation of people with disabilities through sport, with particular emphasis on sport shooting.
- 20. Social and health integration of the disabled and able-bodied, with particular emphasis on sports activities, in particular activities in the form of sport shooting.
- 21. Active promotion of the problems of people with disabilities among the rest of society.
- 22. Active promotion of sport, in particular in the form of sport shooting among the disabled.
- 23. Promotion of a healthy lifestyle in the environment of disabled people and among able-bodied people.
- 24. Active promotion of sport, in particular sport shooting, in the rural environment and small urban communities.
- 25. Conducting educational activities and organizing holidays for children, youth and students.
- 26. Cooperation with the paintball community.
- 27. Organization of military simulations with the use of replicas of weapons and airsoft markers, paintball, electronic simulators, etc.
- 28. Cooperation and exchange of experience with paramilitary organizations, with particular emphasis on military units and the Ministry of Interior Affairs and Administration from all over the country.
- 29. Organization of open recreational sports events addressed to local communities and societies.
- 30. Publication of historical materials promoting the arms and history of the Polish Army in the form of books, multimedia presentations and websites.
- 31. Organization of cultural and tourist events.
- 32. Organizing schools, trainings, courses, seminars and lectures in the areas covered by the Foundation's objectives.
- 33. Funding awards for works implementing the Foundation's program for pupils and students for own achievements in this field.
- 34. Organizing educational trips in the country and abroad.
- 35. Publishing and promotional activities.
- 36. Creation and maintenance of websites.
- 37. Creating and running local radio stations.
- 38. Creation and care of museum monuments related to the history of the region and the history of Poland.
- 39. Participation in the management of historic, sports and recreational facilities.
- 40. Organizing, conducting and financing programs to increase the social inclusion of people with disabilities.
- 41. Training for people with disabilities and employees of public institutions, business entities and social organizations.
- 42. Other activities related to helping people with disabilities.
- 43. Organization and cooperation in this area at summer camps or recreation and rehabilitation camps for children and youth.
- 44. Organizing projects promoting a healthy lifestyle and fighting social pathologies and addictions.
- 45. Cooperation with the hunting community in the field of nature protection and popularizing hunting traditions, customs and ethics.
- 46. Supporting, promoting and popularizing all pro-ecological activities.
- 47. Supporting social initiatives.
- 48. Supporting local and regional development in the field of entrepreneurship, civic and local government activity.
- 49. Organization and participation in trainings and courses for people focused around the Foundation's idea to raise qualifications and better implement the Foundation's statutory goals.
- 50. Cooperation with political institutions, local government at all levels, social organizations, business entities and private persons interested in implementing the statutory objectives of the Foundation.
